
Dexter Hendricks
Senior Manager of Interconnection Policy
Dexter Hendricks is passionate about building a more equitable and decarbonized energy future by addressing one of the clean energy sector’s most pressing challenges: generator interconnection. With over a decade of experience across both the private sector and federal government, Dexter has been at the forefront of national efforts to improve interconnection policy, streamline processes, and support research that accelerates clean energy deployment.
Most recently, Dexter served as a Technology Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO), where he co-led the Interconnection Innovation e-Xchange (i2X), a national initiative that codifies and disseminates best practices for generator interconnection to both the distribution and transmission grids.
Dexter is based in Maryland, where he lives with his wife and plants. An avid Arsenal supporter, he holds a B.A. from Seattle University.
