Director of Operations and Membership
Amanda has worked in the clean energy industry since 2008. Prior to joining CCSA as the Operations and Membership Manager in 2023, Amanda co-founded and was the Director of Operations at EQ Research, where she mastered the skill of shapeshifting to not only manage the company but also serve as one of company’s clean energy policy subject matter experts. (Fun fact, while at EQ Research, CCSA was one of Amanda’s clients for about two years.) Before helping to launch EQ Research, Amanda worked at NC State University managing the Solar Center’s Energy Policy Program where she played a crucial role implementing the DSIRE project. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University. She also served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Nicaragua and is fluent in Spanish.
