Matt brings over 20 years of government affairs, campaigns, public affairs, and communications experience to CCSA. He’s held senior public affairs roles at a wide variety of public institutions, private companies, and global consultancies where he was directly responsible for developing and executing public affairs and government affairs strategies to improve organization’s reputation and achieve targeted outcomes with a wide variety of stakeholders including government officials, investors, business leaders, and employees. At CCSA, Matt oversees all state legislative and regulatory campaigns to expand and improve community solar programs across the country. This includes developing and implementing campaign strategies and managing budgets and a team of regional directors, local lobbying consultants, and public affairs agencies to pass legislation and improve community solar regulations in more than twenty states.
